I started using eyeliner when I was roughly 12. Coal black ones which by end of the day disappeared in parts and left behind two smudgy eye corners. Then I graduated into eye pencils in my mid-twenties. Oooh the smudge-proof, water-proof, eco-friendly, sustainable-conscious, eye pencils. I finished them just after 2 weeks, to my horror. I wouldn’t have been so generous with those pricey sticks had I known that soon, my twists will only result in a stub too small for even Barbie’s dainty eyes.
Then I graduated to liquid eye pencils in my late-twenties. Resembling a sketch pen and smelling worse than one, it remained in my kit as indelible as it’s promise to darken my eyes forever and ever. #FalsePromises
Now I am in love with my blue eyeliner. The good old one which gets lumpy and I have to trickle down contact lens solution like Ganga jal down a matriarch’s gasping throat. It leaves a beautiful dark trail behind that is actually visible against my dark skin. Take that Adele and her cat eyes!
I AM GRATEFUL FOR …
Blue eyeliner bottle that works like a magic with some lumpy start.
Blue eyeliner bottle that works like a magic with some lumpy start, that I found inside a forgotten pouch.
Blue eyeliner bottle that works like a magic with some lumpy start, that I found inside a forgotten pouch and makes me feel like a twirly teen again.
