# 44 The tragedy of loss

This has been a month of loss. A slow pace of denial turned into realization, which settled down inside my stomach like a rock, that several of my essentials are missing after a short vacation abroad. The fall-out from fraternity and  hostility I earned when my tiny squeal rose against the shout of the masses. Worry over loss of rights of minorities at the beginning of a new era. The list has only begun.

Well maybe I should look upon it as cleansing/metamorphosis/winds of change to not scare away  the remaining ounce of hope in me. At the very least, I’m getting a new pair of gloves this week.

I AM GRATEFUL FOR …

The changes happening around me

The changes happening around me that is taking me astray from the familiar walls I had constructed around me

The changes happening around me that is taking me astray from familiar walls I had constructed around me and the mighty conversations that are backing these changes.
